The Board consists of the Bishop of Arlington, Virginia, seven lay Catholic leaders and three members of the Legion of Christ.  The School of Counseling at Divine Mercy University (DMU) invites applications for an online adjunct faculty position in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program.

 Applicants must have the following minimal qualifications:

  • A doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Supervision from a CACREP-accredited institution;
  • Be Licensed or License-eligible in the state of residence
  • Possess  clinical, supervision, and teaching skills
  • Demonstrate a commitment to counseling professional identity and development
  • Exemplify a commitment to diverse worldviews and faiths while upholding the Catholic Christian vision of the person.

 To be considered, the following is required:

  • Current curriculum vitae.
  • Cover letter of interest that addresses the applicant’s compatibility with teaching and supervising in accord with the DMU mission.
  • A list of references from three higher education professionals.
