As part of our project with the start-up TwinCloud, we are looking for a Student Assistant in Python / 3D Gaussian Splatting. Be part of change

• Further development of our 3D gaussian splatting/processing pipeline (processing, adaptation, optimization)

• Tuning of parameters and evaluation of quality/performance (benchmarks, metrics, reproducibility)

What you contribute

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's/Master's program in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Robotics/CG, or a related field
  • Excellent Python skills; experience with NumPy/PyTorch or similar is a plus
  • Interest in Computer Vision (point clouds, rendering, reconstruction – prior knowledge is a plus)
  • Practical mindset: strong in debugging, thorough documentation, experimentation, and clear communication of results
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Experience with AI tools (Copilot/ChatGPT) is a plus

The position is initially limited to 1 year. An extension is explictly desired.

 

The monthly working time is 80 hours. This position is also available on a part-time basis.
