Hyper-V Consultant (Urgent Need)

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Hyper-V Consultant to urgently support a critical production incident within a hyper-converged failover cluster environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Storage Spaces Direct (S2D), Hyper-V, and failover clustering in high-availability environments.

Current Situation:
The client's production hyper-converged failover cluster experienced a critical overnight incident where multiple Storage Spaces Direct (S2D) volumes fell out of synchronization and entered a degraded repair state.

This has resulted in:

• Reduced system availability
• Performance degradation
• Impact to several production virtual machines
• Disruption to core database systems supporting banking operations

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and remediate S2D volume synchronization issues
• Restore cluster health and stability
• Optimize performance of affected virtual machines
• Ensure high availability of critical systems, particularly database environments
• Provide guidance on preventing future incidents

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong hands-on experience with Hyper-V and Failover Clustering
• Deep knowledge of Storage Spaces Direct (S2D) troubleshooting and recovery
• Experience working in production-critical environments (financial/banking preferred)
• Ability to respond quickly and work under urgent conditions
