  • Background in higher education and instructional technology

Requirements:

  • Lead Technology-Enhanced Learning: Partner with academic leaders, faculty, and the learning design team to integrate technology into curriculum and course delivery; ensure a seamless LMS experience; evaluate and recommend new tools
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Manage course shell migration and ensure timely readiness for each term; maintain and optimize instructional technology systems; collaborate with IT partners to resolve system integrations (Canvas, CampusNexus)
  • Empower Faculty and Staff: Create clear, user-friendly guides and resources; deliver training and professional development; support adoption of tools like Respondus, analytics platforms, and other integrated technologies
  • Lead Collaborate and Data-Driven Improvement: Supervise and mentor an Instructional Technologist; serve as liaison across departments and external partners; collect and analyze data to evaluate technology effectiveness; support program reviews and refine processes

What You’ll Do 

Lead Technology-Enhanced Learning 

  • Partner with academic leaders, faculty, and the learning design team to integrate technology into curriculum and course delivery 
  • Ensure a seamless, high-quality experience across learning systems, including the LMS 
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools that enhance teaching and learning 

Drive Operational Excellence 

  • Manage course shell migration and ensure timely readiness for each term 
  • Maintain and optimize instructional technology systems and resources 
  • Collaborate with IT partners to resolve system integrations (e.g., Canvas, CampusNexus) 
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and support system-related requests 

Empower Faculty & Staff 

  • Create clear, user-friendly guides and resources 
  • Deliver training and professional development in partnership with the Center for Teaching Excellence 
  • Support adoption of tools like Respondus, analytics platforms, and other integrated technologies 

Lead & Collaborate 

  • Supervise and mentor an Instructional Technologist 
  • Serve as a key liaison across departments and external partners 
  • Build strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders to ensure aligned, effective solutions 

Use Data to Improve Outcomes 

  • Collect and analyze data to evaluate technology effectiveness 
  • Support program reviews and accreditation efforts with LMS and system data 
  • Continuously refine processes based on insights and evolving best practices
