Roles & Responsibilities

  • Experience with R, Python, or other programming languages; familiarity with Amazon Redshift, DB2, or similar databases.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Amazon QuickSight) and the ability to translate data into actionable insights; strong communication skills.

  • Ideate and create new analytics models and metrics using advanced techniques to drive sales growth for clients.
  • Automate ongoing deliverables for the SSC Distribution Intelligence suite and implement validation checks to ensure output quality.
  • Run ad-hoc queries across datasets to address client-specific questions and communicate results to clients via calls and emails.
  • Prepare analytical insights for client sales meetings using PowerPoint presentations and Excel documents.

We are currently seeking a full-time Client Relations Manager to join our team; this position may be hybrid or fully remote, depending on the location of the associate.   

As a Sr. Data Analyst you will create analytical reports, perform statistical analyses, and prototype product enhancements on large sets of customer, internal, and third-party industry data. This includes identifying, interpreting, and validating trends and patterns to uncover business opportunities and solve our clients most forefront business problems.

What You Will Get To Do:

  • Ideate and create new analytics models and metrics using advanced techniques to help drive sales growth for clients based on their position in the marketplace and their target customers.
  • Build and support the automation of ongoing deliverables for the suite of SS&C Distribution Intelligence products and services.  This includes the building of validation checks on all output to ensure quality and consistency in client delivery.
  • Run ad-hoc queries at various levels of aggregation across a variety of data sets to conduct research on client-specific questions and issues; communicate analysis results directly with clients via both calls and emails.
  • Prepare analytical insights for use in client sales meetings via PowerPoint presentations, Excel documents, etc.
  • Work cross-functionally with multiple internal teams including data stewards, development teams, sales teams, and product managers to resolve data integrity issues, ideate new product offerings, run summary statistical analyses, and ensure smooth delivery to clients.

What You Will Bring:

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in an analytics role and a bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics, or Engineering.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on SQL experience, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain a high level of engagement and responsiveness during work hours.
  • Experience with R, Python, or other programming languages, and familiarity with Amazon Redshift, DB2, or similar databases.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Amazon Quicksight and an understanding of quantitative, statistical, or data science modeling techniques.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate techniques and translate data into actionable insights to drive client value.
  • Preferred: Operational experience with large language models (LLMs) and a proven track record of delivering analysis that supports customer segmentation, predictive analytics, campaign targeting, or customer insight reporting.

Salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, job related knowledge, skills, abilities, business needs, and geographic regions.

Other States Salary range for the position: 95,000 USD to 110,000 USD.
