In this highly collaborative role, you’ll partner across product, engineering, data, and business stakeholders to shape questions into measurable analyses, build models and experiments, and deliver results people can act on. You’ll own the end-to-end work of managing and transforming data for visualization and storytelling, delivering ad-hoc analyses aligned to business requirements, and using appropriate investigative and analytical approaches to interpret and verify results.

To do that, you’ll need:

  • Strong ability to design, extract, normalize, analyze, and automate analysis using enterprise data sources (e.g., data warehouse/extracts) and coordinate requirements with SMEs.

  • Hands-on experience applying machine learning/statistical techniques to develop predictive models and extract insights from structured and (when needed) semi-/unstructured data (e.g., NLP).

  • Proven track record building data visualizations for data storytelling and managing data pipelines/curation needed to support accurate visuals.

  • A quality mindset for interpreting, validating, and verifying analytical results—ensuring conclusions are sound and reproducible.

  • Strong software engineering fundamentals in Python, including writing readable, testable and maintainable code.

  • Experience working with APIs and production data interfaces.

Note:

  • This is a fully remote role, but onsite interviews at our Chattanooga, TN headquarters will be required.

  • Sponsorship is not available for this role.
