Roles & Responsibilities

  • A level or bachelor’s degree in computer studies or equivalent work experience.
  • Microsoft or A+ certification and Microsoft 365 certification (Desktop Administrator Associate) or MCDST preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar IT/desktop support role with end-to-end desktop imaging.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls, Office 365 administration (mailbox, Teams, OneDrive), SCCM, AD permissions, and related IT concepts; proven ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues.

Requirements:

  • Provide end-to-end desktop support including imaging, AD provisioning, Office 365 object management (mailbox, Teams, OneDrive), Intune/Autopilot, and provisioning of iOS and Android devices.
  • Oversee hardware lifecycle: procurement, inventory, installation, configuration, shipping to remote sites, and daily helpdesk ticket management.
  • Coordinate IT service delivery via internal platforms such as ServiceNow; monitor security software, evaluate hardware, support purchasing, and design imaging solutions.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve hardware and network issues, manage VPN/Wi‑Fi/printers, support video conferencing, and assist the cybersecurity team with implementing latest systems and procedures.

Job Description

  • Core responsibilities: including contact vendors, setting up computers, imaging, shipping computers to site locations, administering of AD objects with regards to user provisioning, managing folder permission, AD computer objects, Office 365 mailbox, Teams mgmt, MDM and provisioning cellular devices (IOS and Android).

  • Hands on experience with Office 365 objects including mailbox, Teams, OneDrive and managing tenant environment including intune/autopilot, assigning permission to SharePoint sites

  • Practical experience or good understanding in installing of ERP client like SAP One and other corporate applications client software with consultation of corporate IT department at corporate headquarters.

  • Good understanding of setting up VPN client, Wi-Fi APs, network copiers, plotter and small scale router with ability to trouble shoot network equipment.

  • Responsible for coordinating end-to-end support through internal platforms such as ServiceNow. Includes security software monitoring daily security logs on computers, evaluation of hardware specification, recommendation, assist in purchasing and design solution for computer imaging.

  • Responsibilities include procurement of computers, documentation of purchase and inventories of equipment, installation, configuration, shipping equipment to end users at remote site offices and update helpdesk tickets on daily basis

  • Evaluate applications, software patches for desktop, installation of software, maintain asset & inventory management with tracking of service warranties, upgrades and writing computer software installation procedures.

  • Responsible in assisting staff in video conferencing equipment and resolve any connectivity issue.

  • Collaborate with vendors and partners in resolving computers hardware issues.

  • Monitor the performance of the company’s desktop and make suggestions for improving efficiency of desktops in windows environment work toward resolution with due diligence.

  • Examine, manage, and administer company’s cellular communication devices consult with service provider order phones, provisioning, record management and distribution.

  • Managing projects computer configuration, record keeping liaison with HR and project team for requirements of computer equipment.

  • Assist the corporate cybersecurity team with implementation of latest systems and procedures.

  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.

  • Able to promptly answer support related email, phone calls and through remote in software.

  • Able to communicate with senior management, self motivated, detail-oriented and organized.

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.

  • Familiar with service management processes such as incidents, requests, problem, and change management.

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and best practices.

  • Proven ability to offer high level desktop support in an enterprise environment

  • Strong organizational skill and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • Special Conditions

  • Individuals may be required to travel within the North America Region (USA and Canada) and elsewhere as needed.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • A level or bachelor’s degree in computer studies or equivalent work experience with Microsoft or A+ certification and Microsoft 365 certification in Desktop Administrator Associate or MCDST preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in in similar role and IT systems.

  • Experience in desktop end-to-end support and computer imaging is highly required.

  • Good understanding of TCP/IP, Firewall, Access Point, VPN, network printers, installation of corporate software, security software, SCCM, AD folder permissions, Office 365 administration of objects. 

  • Certifications such Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, or equivalent are a plus.

  • Able to give end user orientation.

  • 5 years’ experience required in management of desktop computer, security, imaging and desktop backup.

  • Must be technology-savvy and be able to resolve all the technical difficulties.

  • Ability to coordinate at multiple levels and provide great customer service. Taking ownership of all IT related issues.
