Overview

We’re looking for a sharp, high-judgment researcher to help us identify the right people and companies to invite into curated events and communities.

This is not a generic lead generation role. We care about who actually belongs in the room and understanding meaningful real connections, not just building large lists.

This is a 3**-month independent contractor role**, with the potential to extend based on performance and business needs.

The role is structured around deliverables and outcomes, not fixed hours. As a contractor, you will have flexibility in how you approach the work and manage your time.

Scope of Work

  • Identify and deliver ~1,000 qualified organizations (leads) per month

  • Research and identify high-quality individuals within specific industries (LinkedIn, Instagram, web, etc.)

  • Map individuals to companies and surface net-new, relevant accounts

  • Apply judgment to determine:

    • Who is influential or relevant

    • Which companies align with target event audiences

  • Provide structured outputs for enrichment and outreach

How Work Is Evaluated

  • Quality and relevance of organizations identified

  • Consistency of output (targeting ~6–8 high-quality organizations per hour equivalent)

  • Clear reasoning behind why individuals and companies are a strong fit

What Success Looks Like

  • You consistently identify decision-makers, connectors, or high-signal operators

  • You avoid low-quality or irrelevant companies

  • You understand nuance (e.g., not all founders or creators are equal)

  • You prioritize quality over speed
