As a Solutions Engineer, you'll be the technical architect driving innovation at the intersection of business development and cutting-edge data infrastructure. You'll craft, integrate, and fortify our enterprise's data platform, ensuring rock-solid security and scalability that propels our organization's strategic growth.

Responsibilities:

Support complex IT and Info Sec discussions with retailers throughout the sales process and completion of customer RFPs.

 

Provide Support as the IT resource for Aperion accounts.

 

Act as the Primary IT resource for SMB accounts.

 

Support the OPS Team with executing integrations with retailers during implementation and rollout.

 

Provide professional services to existing customer base for additional integration work beyond retailer’s availability and capabilities post rollout.

 

Develop integrations in conjunction with Aperion alliance partners to support the Aperion alliance network.

 

Deliver Level 1 and Level 2 technical support to customers, ensuring timely issue resolution and exceptional service.

 

Support the development and maintenance of the Aperion software platform utilizing data and integration from alliance partners.

 

Become the SME on all solutions in Aperion’s portfolio and provide continuous training to the internal sales and ops teams.

 

Coordinate closely with Sales Support function and Service Resources to provide solution design in accordance with customers’ business requirements and support sales team to position infrastructure management services solution proactively.

 

Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

 

This role requires a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (master’s degree preferred) and a minimum of five years of relevant industry experience or equivalent. 

 

Advanced software development skills in multiple programming languages (Required: Python, JavaScript, C#); with a strong ability and willingness to learn additional languages as needed

 

Proficient in data analytics with the ability to collect, process, and interpret complex datasets to drive informed business decisions.

 

Experience in developing and implementing integrations using APIs from strategic alliance partners.

 

Food retail experience/knowledge to be able to participate in discussions with C Suites and retail tech teams. Ability to effectively translate complex technical concepts for clear communication across all levels and departments.

 

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects.

 

Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook

 

Advanced verbal and written communication skills.

 

Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize quickly and has a sense of urgency.

 

Knowledge of info security practices and adhering to corporate requirements

 

Ability to travel 15-20%

 

Remote – Anywhere in the continental US

 

The salary or hourly range of $84,628-$157,165 is just one component of Hussmann’s total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives. The minimum hourly wage for this role will be the greater of the posted range, or minimum wage for the location where the employee will be working, subject to local minimum wage requirements.
