Position Summary:

Under general supervision, this role supports the design, delivery, and ongoing improvement of leadership development programs that align with Tarian’s current and future talent needs.

 

As part of the Learning Management & Development (LMD) team, this position helps enhance the teammate experience by creating and implementing training programs that develop current and emerging leaders. This role takes a practical, program-based approach to learning, ensuring content is engaging, effective, and aligned with best practices.

 

This position works closely with stakeholders across the organization, requiring strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills. Success in this role depends on the ability to balance teamwork with individual ownership, delivering high-quality programs that meet business needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with leaders and stakeholders to support leadership development strategies that align with business goals
  • Deliver engaging leadership development programs across multiple formats (virtual, in-person, eLearning, etc.)
  • Facilitate training on core “Success Skills,” including communication, customer service, and team development
  • Design, develop, and update training content, including facilitator guides and participant materials
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and vendors to enhance program content and delivery
  • Support the planning, scheduling, and coordination of training programs, including logistics and communications
  • Manage program communications, invitations, and materials to ensure a smooth learner experience
  • Partner with the LMS Analyst to track program completion and maintain accurate training records
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and implement improvements based on feedback and data
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and overall program efficiency
  • Stay current on industry trends, tools, and best practices in learning and development
  • Support additional training initiatives, projects, and certifications as needed
  • Adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field AND
  • A minimum of three (3) years of related Leadership Development and facilitation experience or any education and experience to perform the job.
  • Obtain and maintain valid Driver’s License and meet company driving standards.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Knowledge of training and development principles, including adult learning theory and instructional design
  • Familiarity with relevant federal, state, and local regulations related to training and development
  • Experience designing and delivering training across multiple formats (instructor-led, virtual, eLearning)
  • Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) to manage content and track completion
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Experience with learning and design tools such as Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise), Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Vyond, or similar platforms preferred
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex concepts for non-technical audiences
  • Ability to collaborate, build relationships, and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organizationStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to gather data, evaluate program effectiveness, and identify improvements
  • Problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to provide coaching and identify development opportunities
  • Demonstrated professionalism and executive presence, with confidence presenting to leadership
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and adapt to changing priorities
  • Capacity to research, design, and deliver effective training programs
