We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with leadership, accountants, and clients to deliver high-quality accounting services. The position combines hands-on accounting work, client advisory support, and review responsibilities to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Qualifications Required:

  • 3+ years of U.S. experience within an accounting firm or bookkeeping firm servicing law firm clients. (Experience working within a law firm's internal accounting department will not be considered)
  • Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online
  • Strong understanding of account reconciliations and financial reporting
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organization and time-management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and Teams
  • Knowledgeable with CLIO (preferable)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting & Financial Management
  • Perform IOLTA reconciliations
  • Maintain and manage client books in QuickBooks Online
  • Review QuickBooks files for accurate coding, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and transaction completeness
  • Perform accounting clean-ups and catch-up work for clients with incomplete records
  • Classify transactions and complete monthly reconciliations for bank, credit card, and liability accounts
  • Tie out payroll liabilities and payroll-related expenses
  • Manage law firm trust accounting processes in compliance with firm and regulatory requirements
  • Law firm trust accounting experience is required
