Your role

Be part of projects that make a real difference! We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Support Officer to support the delivery of projects that improve environments for frontline teams and the communities they serve.

As part of the Programs & Partnerships Communities team, you’ll report to the Senior Program Manager and play an important role in supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of diverse projects across our portfolio. From research and analysis through to reporting and implementation support, you’ll help ensure our projects are well governed, coordinated and aligned with our project delivery framework.

Our Program and Partnerships team are committed to delivering human-centred solutions to create safe, functional and effective workplaces for our frontline colleagues across NSW.

What you’ll do

In this role, you’ll provide practical project support services across a portfolio of projects. Working closely with project teams, you’ll support planning, coordination and delivery activities to help ensure project outcomes are achieved.

You’ll support the preparation and coordination of project documentation, assist with procurement related activities, and help ensure projects are delivered in line with established frameworks, practices, and templates. You will also provide support to governance processes, including coordinating meetings, and preparing documentation to support effective project delivery.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting assigned projects and project teams by providing a range of practical project support services
  • Assisting the Senior Program Manager with a range of deliverables, including portfolio-level support
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of project support practices and processes across all projects
  • Undertaking research and analysis to support informed decision-making and planning
  • Supporting stakeholder engagement by coordinating inputs and assisting with the preparation of project updates, reports and briefing material.
  • Providing secretariat services, including coordinating governance meetings, preparing papers and meeting records.

What we’re looking for

Our ideal candidate will have experience supporting project delivery, with a strong ability to work collaboratively across multiple projects and teams. You’ll be comfortable assisting with governance activities, coordinating documentation, and supporting analysis and reporting at a project and program level.

You’ll bring a proactive approach to problem-solving, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and adapt within a structured project delivery framework. Experience in procurement support, stakeholder communication, and secretariat services will be highly regarded.

Some regional travel will be required to support project activities. A valid NSW drivers' licence is required.
