Role: UX/UI Designer – Design Systems (Mobile & Web)
Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)
Contract Duration: 12+ months
Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)
Work Time: EST (9 AM - 5:30 PM)
Location: 100% Remote (Candidates can work from anywhere in LATAM Countries)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced UX/UI Designer with a strong background in design systems to support and evolve a guest-facing digital experience across mobile and web platforms. This role requires deep expertise in Figma, strong collaboration with iOS and Android developers, and a proven ability to maintain and scale design systems.

You will play a key role in modernizing and standardizing design assets, ensuring consistency, usability, and scalability across products.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, evolve, and scale the organization's design system
• Update and standardize a large volume of Figma files to align with the design system
• Collaborate closely with iOS and Android developers to ensure design feasibility and consistency
• Create and refine UX and UI components for responsive web and mobile applications
• Ensure design consistency across all guest-facing digital products
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and cross-functional collaboration
• Contribute to design documentation, guidelines, and best practices
• Advocate for user-centered design principles and accessibility

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in UX/UI Design
• 8+ years of experience working with design systems
• Strong expertise in Figma
• Proven experience designing for both mobile apps (iOS & Android) and responsive web
• Strong UX and visual design skills
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Excellent English communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, ownership, and initiative

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Graphic Design, UX, or related field
• UX Certification (or currently pursuing)
• Experience working on guest-facing / consumer-facing products
• Experience transitioning or scaling enterprise design systems

Portfolio Requirement (Mandatory – Strict)

Candidates must provide an online portfolio demonstrating:

• Strong UI and UX case studies
• Proven work on design systems (components, libraries, tokens, variants)
• Examples of mobile (iOS/Android) and responsive web design

Important Requirements:

• Figma-based work is mandatory
• Candidates must provide live Figma links showcasing design systems and component structures
• Behance-only portfolios will NOT be considered
• If a Behance portfolio is submitted, it must be accompanied by Figma links
