  • Aerospace & Defense industry experience preferred, including exposure to regulated/compliance-driven environments

Requirements:

  • Own the end-to-end SAP Plan-to-Produce value stream from design through go-live and post-go-live stabilization, including scope, timeline, quality, and delivery outcomes
  • Provide hands-on SAP functional expertise and act as the functional integration manager across cross-module, cross-system, and cross-vendor dependencies
  • Drive alignment between business objectives, process design, and SAP system execution across all program phases; ensure integration with upstream and downstream value streams
  • Own value stream-level status reporting, governance cadence, and executive communications; proactively identify risks and drive escalations with actionable options

The Value Stream Lead – SAP Plan to Produce is accountable for end‐to‐end ownership and delivery of the SAP Plan‐to‐Produce value stream across design, build, integration, testing and deployment. This role combines hands‐on SAP implementation expertise, strong project and delivery management, and cross‐functional integration leadership to drive business outcomes in a complex, multi‐SI, global delivery environment.

The role serves as the functional integration manager across multiple SAP workstreams, system integrators, and business stakeholders, ensuring cohesive solution design, disciplined execution, and predictable delivery. Aerospace & Defense (A&D) industry experience is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
Value Stream Ownership & Delivery Accountability:

  • Own the end‐to‐end SAP Plan‐to‐Produce value stream, with full accountability for scope, timeline, quality, and delivery outcomes.
  • Drive alignment between business objectives, process design, and SAP system execution across all phases of the program.
  • Ensure seamless integration with upstream and downstream value streams.
SAP Functional Expertise & Integration Leadership:
  • Bring hands‐on SAP implementation experience as a functional expert in at least one Plan‐to‐Produce workstream, such as:
    • Materials Management (MM)
    • Production Planning & Execution (PP Manufacturing)
    • Quality Management (QM)
    • Demand Planning
    • Transportation Management (TM)
    • Global Trade Services (GTS)
  • Provide deep functional guidance based on real‐world implementation experience, including design decisions, trade‐offs, and best practices.
  • Act as the functional integration manager, coordinating cross‐module, cross‐system, and cross‐vendor dependencies.
  • Resolve design conflicts and ensure scalable, compliant, and end‐to‐end integrated SAP solutions.
Project Management & Delivery Execution:
  • Own delivery execution for the value stream from design through go‐live and post‐go‐live stabilization.
  • Apply strong project management discipline to plan, track, and manage milestones, deliverables, risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Partner closely with program leadership, PMO, and SI project managers to ensure integrated planning and execution.
  • Maintain and actively manage value stream‐level RAID with clear ownership and mitigation strategies.
Governance, Status & Escalation Management:
  • Own value stream‐level status reporting, governance cadence, and executive communications.
  • Provide clear, fact‐based visibility into progress, risks, delivery health, and decisions required.
  • Proactively identify risks and drive early escalations, presenting actionable options and recommendations.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
SAP Functional & Implementation Experience (Mandatory)
  • Proven SAP implementation experience as a functional lead or senior consultant in at least one Plan‐to‐Produce workstream (MM, PP, QM, Demand Planning, TM, or Manufacturing).
  • Demonstrated experience delivering end‐to‐end SAP S/4HANA implementations, including design, build, test, and deployment.
  • Strong understanding of end‐to‐end manufacturing and supply chain processes and how they integrate in SAP.
Industry & Delivery Experience:
  • Aerospace & Defense (A&D) industry experience preferred, including exposure to regulated and compliance‐driven environments.
  • Proven experience leading large‐scale SAP programs involving multiple system integrators.
  • Strong experience working in global onshore–offshore delivery models.
