UX/UI Designer

Pay Rate: $70 - $77/hr

Location: Fully Remote (Must be able to work EST hours)

Responsibilities:

• Embed with cross-functional teams to define content strategy and improve user experiences.
• Drive the definition of strategic direction for content development and management based on user insights and business priorities.
• Develop content plans, contribute to information architecture and navigation decisions, create taxonomies and content models as needed.
• Partner with UX Designers to provide narrative perspective, instructional text, and microcopy for transactional experiences.
• Advocate for content use to create lasting and meaningful relationships with users.
• Uphold brand and tone of voice integration and evolution as needed.
• Create messaging strategies and outlines.
• Ensure content is implemented to deliver against the strategy, driving development of user interface copy for wireframes and prototypes.
• Use data and customer feedback to measure content strategy effectiveness and pivot as needed.

Requirements:

• 4 years of experience in content strategy or content design working with websites, apps, and email.
• Proficiency in writing microcopy and instructional content for transactional experiences.
• Must submit a portfolio to be considered.
• Strong record of success in working on complex, multi-dimensional programs.

Required Skills:

• Deep familiarity with best practices for organizing and tagging content.
• Analytical skills for interpreting user research and analytics to inform content ideas.
• Understanding of human-centered design principles.
• Passion for storytelling and ability to review, edit, and recognize quality content.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multi-functional team.
• Experience working in iterative processes and in an agile environment.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Proficiency in design and collaboration tools such as Adobe XD Cloud, Figma, Miro, etc.

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to take initiative, think strategically, connect dots across multiple threads, and drive results.
• Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively within multi-functional teams.
