Requirements:

  • Own the UX approach for multiple government client streams as the solo UI/UX designer when assigned, including requirements gathering, user journeys, and business process flows
  • Conduct user research and create UI elements, pattern libraries, wireframes, and interactive prototypes; ensure Section 508 compliance
  • Collaborate with designers from multiple vendors and present UX work to executives/clients, building trust and delivering results
  • Create presentation designs and other visual deliverables, contributing to the overall visual design quality and design systems

User Interface (UI) / User Experience (UX) Designer Senior (Remote)
 

Job Tasks


Seeking a mid-senior level UI/UX designer. Must be able to work multiple work streams and support various Government clients. Will be placed on opportunities in which this role is the solo UI/UX designer therefore this candidate must be able to solution the UX approach, help gather requirements, possibly assist with business process or user journey flows, user research, creation of UI elements/pattern libraries, creation of wireframes and prototypes, Section 508 Compliance. Agile/scrum team experience is preferred.

Design Skills


Will be asked to create presentation designs and other visual items. Should have a strong design background. Needs to have the wow factor with visual design.

Lead/Team Skills


Needs the ability to work with other designers (from various vendors) collaborate and receive feedback well. Has the ability to navigate meetings with executives and clients, while delivering UX work and creating trust.

Software


Figma, Adobe XD, Penpot, or another prototyping tool that is compatible. Adobe Creative Cloud. JIRA knowledge is preferred.

The likely salary range for this position is $110,500 - $149,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
