As a Power BI & Reporting Specialist within the Controlling team at Zühlke, you will combine strong expertise in data visualization and analytics with a solid understanding of financial processes. Your primary focus will be the design, development, and continuous improvement of Power BI solutions to enable transparent, data-driven decision-making across the organization. 

How you’ll spend your time 

  • Take ownership of the development, optimization, and governance of Power BI reports and dashboards, with a strong focus on usability, performance, and scalability  

  • Translate business and finance requirements into intuitive visualizations, KPIs, and data models  

  • Collaborate closely with Controlling, Finance and IT teams to ensure a consistent and reliable data foundation  

  • Build and maintain robust data models, ensuring data quality, consistency, and clear definitions of financial metrics  

  • Drive automation and standardization of reporting processes, reducing manual effort and improving efficiency  

  • Support the Controlling team by providing data-driven insights for financial steering, planning, and performance management  

  • Act as a bridge between Finance and Data/IT, helping to translate financial needs into technical solutions and vice versa 

What’s important to us 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Information Systems or a related field.  

  • Professional experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and controlling, preferably in a professional service provider environment 

  • Strong knowledge of data management, with a passion for utilizing and improving available data for strategic decision-making 

  • Proficiency in Power BI is required and experience with other BI or data visualization tools is a plus 

  • Flexibility, independence, and composure under pressure 

  • Excellent analytical skills and assertive communication abilities in English (German proficiency is a plus)
