As a Power BI & Reporting Specialist within the Controlling team at Zühlke, you will combine strong expertise in data visualization and analytics with a solid understanding of financial processes. Your primary focus will be the design, development, and continuous improvement of Power BI solutions to enable transparent, data-driven decision-making across the organization.
How you’ll spend your time
Take ownership of the development, optimization, and governance of Power BI reports and dashboards, with a strong focus on usability, performance, and scalability
Translate business and finance requirements into intuitive visualizations, KPIs, and data models
Collaborate closely with Controlling, Finance and IT teams to ensure a consistent and reliable data foundation
Build and maintain robust data models, ensuring data quality, consistency, and clear definitions of financial metrics
Drive automation and standardization of reporting processes, reducing manual effort and improving efficiency
Support the Controlling team by providing data-driven insights for financial steering, planning, and performance management
Act as a bridge between Finance and Data/IT, helping to translate financial needs into technical solutions and vice versa
What’s important to us
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Information Systems or a related field.
Professional experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and controlling, preferably in a professional service provider environment
Strong knowledge of data management, with a passion for utilizing and improving available data for strategic decision-making
Proficiency in Power BI is required and experience with other BI or data visualization tools is a plus
Flexibility, independence, and composure under pressure
Excellent analytical skills and assertive communication abilities in English (German proficiency is a plus)
