Job description

Site: Mass General Brigham Incorporated

Mass General Brigham relies on a wide range of professionals, including doctors, nurses, business people, tech experts, researchers, and systems analysts to advance our mission. As a not-for-profit, we support patient care, research, teaching, and community service, striving to provide exceptional care. We believe that high-performing teams drive groundbreaking medical discoveries and invite all applicants to join us and experience what it means to be part of Mass General Brigham.

Job Summary

At MGB Springboard Studio, we believe healthcare should be designed around the people it serves. As the design impact studio within Mass General Brigham, our mission is simple: to make healthcare more user-friendly. Through design thinking, we work alongside patients, clinicians, and staff to co-create practical, human-centered solutions that improve care experiences, outcomes, and equity. From reimagining clinical workflows to designing better tools for frontline teams, we bring creativity, empathy, and experimentation to some of healthcare’s biggest challenges.

Project Overview
We are seeking a skilled Video Storyteller with experience in video editing to collaborate closely with our Junior and Senior Designer on a series of 5–6-minute videos. As part of our Design Impact Awards program, we are creating a collection of videos showcasing the progress of our Alumni cohort, where their projects are now, more than a year after presenting at our culminating Demo Day event. We are currently gathering raw footage through interviews with all six alumni teams. The Video Storyteller will transform this material into a set of compelling videos—one for each team—that captures their core story and impact of their work. This internship will also include visibility into all of the Springboard Studio’s work to experience the intersection of design thinking and healthcare.
