Roles & Responsibilities

Requirements:

  • Execute and manage strategic account plans for high-value dental customers in the UK and Ireland; identify growth opportunities and lead quarterly/annual business reviews to increase share of wallet.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with C-level executives and senior decision-makers across DSOs, procurement bodies, and healthcare institutions; translate customer strategy into actionable solutions aligned with Solventum's value proposition.
  • Coordinate with Solventum regional and territory sales managers and internal teams to deliver an integrated customer experience; ensure pricing and service levels consistency.
  • Monitor dental market dynamics in the UK and Ireland (NHS vs private sector) and provide regular progress, revenue forecasts, and pipeline reporting.

Role Summary:

The Key Account Manager (KAM) for the UK and Ireland will lead strategic engagement with Dental DSO across our full portfolio (Dental, Ortho & CSS). This role will focus on long-term account development, senior stakeholder management, and collaboration with regional sales managers to deploy and align commercial efforts. The successful candidate will be instrumental in positioning Solventum Dental Solutions as a preferred partner in delivering innovative, clinically relevant dental products and services within the DSOs.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Account Management

  • Continue to execute strategic account plans for high-value dental customers in the UK and Ireland.

  • Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and develop solutions that align with customer and company goals.

  • Lead quarterly and annual business reviews with key accounts.

  • Increase share of wallet for Solventum Dental Solutions in line with EMEA expectations.

C-Suite Engagement

  • Develop and maintain relationships with C-level executives and senior decision-makers across DSOs, procurement bodies, and healthcare institutions.

  • Translate customer strategy into actionable solutions, aligning Solventum value proposition with top-level business priorities.

Sales Team Coordination

  • Partner with Solventum regional and territory sales managers to align deployment of sales teams with key account objectives.

  • Lead internal coordination across functions (e.g., clinical, marketing, customer support) to deliver an integrated customer experience.

  • Ensure consistency in pricing, service levels, and customer communication.

Market Insight & Reporting

  • Stay informed on dental market dynamics in the UK and Ireland, including NHS and private sector trends.

  • Track and report on key account progress, revenue forecasts, and pipeline developments.

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following experience

  • Prior experience in the dental industry or within healthcare procurement networks (e.g., NHS supply chain).

  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and data-driven sales planning tools.

Work location:

  • Remote

Candidate Location: South of England

  • Ideally the candidate will be based in Southern England, due to the high percentage of travel required in this area.

Travel: May include up to 85% (National/Domestic) and 15% (International)

Company Vehicle

This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position
