Devereux has an exciting opportunity to become a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner!

** This is an Independent Contractor position **

 

Devereux Florida provides programs and services for individuals with significant intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or emotional or behavioral challenges. This position is responsible for:

  • Completing psychiatric evaluations
  • Working in collaboration with physician to provide diagnostic and intervention patient care
  • Monitoring and reevaluations as needed
  • Medication management
  • Participation in physician peer review and relevant meetings

Position Details:

Rate: $75 / hour

Schedule: flexible schedule (4-25 hours/week)

Location: Remote/Virtual (must reside in Florida)

Qualifications:

Education and Licensure:

  • Master's Degree required
  • Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Practitioner (PMHNP) in the state of Florida required
  • Active Medicaid provider number and authorized to provide psychiatric services by Chapter 464, F.S. required

Other Requirements:

  • Two years' Psychiatric experience required
  • Two years' experience working with children and adolescents required
  • Two years' experience working with children and adolescents preferred
