Job role: Senior Python Backend Engineer.

DESCRIPTION:

Senior Python Backend Engineer role focused on defining, building, and deploying AI-driven solutions. This position requires strong autonomy with full technical ownership and proven experience running production-grade web application backends.

Tasks:

• Designing and implementing scalable backend services for AI RAG systems.

• Building and maintaining FastAPI-based APIs.

• Creating and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.

• Contributing to vector storage and chunking strategies.

• Ensuring reliability, testing, and production readiness.

• Proactively improving backend architecture and infrastructure.

Specific expertise:

• Advanced Python backend experience beyond data-only contexts.

• At least two years developing APIs with FastAPI.

• Designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and container-based distributed

deployments.

• Managing cloud infrastructure including IAM, databases, compute, and

networking.

• Hands-on observability using tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki.

• Solid testing practices across unit, integration, and performance levels.

• Experience in generative AI and LLM integration especially RAG systems.

• Knowledge of AWS production environments and distributed system

performance optimization.

• Cloud and API security best practices.
