  • Manage a high-volume pipeline of sourcing requests with timely execution, including intake, supplier outreach, and basic negotiations, while maintaining quality and compliance
  • Prepare and lead RFIs, RFPs, and structured supplier evaluations; drive total cost of ownership analyses, financial modeling, and renewal forecasting
  • Leverage spend analytics and AI-enabled insights to identify cost optimization opportunities; improve supplier performance against SLAs and provide strategic reporting and forward-looking spend analysis

Job Summary: ​We are seeking a high-impact Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead complex Technology and SaaS category strategy in a rapidly scaling company. This is a strategic role at the center of Engineering, Product, Security, and Finance decision-making. You will shape long-term vendor strategy, and help modernize sourcing through data, automation, and AI-enabled insights. You will report to Head of Tech and SaaS Category Manager and partner closely with your sourcing peers to play a key role in elevating procurement into a strategic growth partner.​
Responsibilities:
  • Operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, managing a large pipeline of concurrent sourcing requests.
  • Balance strategic initiatives with high-volume, lower-complexity requests that require timely and accurate execution.
  • Roll up your sleeves to execute day-to-day sourcing activities, including intake management, supplier outreach, and basic negotiations.
  • Ensure consistent throughput and cycle time across a high volume of transactions without compromising quality or compliance.
  • Lead Technology sourcing strategies and negotiate complex SaaS agreements.
  • Develop and execute category strategies aligned to business growth and product roadmaps.
  • Work directly with Head of Strategic Sourcing and partner directly with senior leaders to shape SaaS strategy and support build vs. buy decisions.
  • Prepare and lead RFIs, RFPs, and structured supplier evaluations.
  • Drive total cost of ownership analysis, financial modeling, and renewal forecasting.
  • Use spend analytics and AI-enabled insights to identify cost optimization and consolidation opportunities.
  • Improve supplier performance against negotiated SLAs and quality metrics.
  • Provide strategic reporting and forward-looking analysis on current and future spend.
  • Support important partners and FP&A to meet budget and forecasting goals.
  • Contribute to the modernization of sourcing processes and automation initiatives to improve efficiency and stakeholder experience.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven ability to manage high request volume while maintaining strong attention to detail and responsiveness.
  • 5+ years in a strategic sourcing role for indirect categories of spend, particularly in Technology and SaaS sourcing.
  • Experience managing global procurement responsibilities using a structured strategic sourcing methodology (opportunity analysis, supplier selection, risk evaluation, contract negotiation, financial analysis).
  • Proven track record delivering price optimization, cost savings, and measurable value.
  • Experience partnering with suppliers, internal business stakeholders, and senior leadership.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to dive deep into contract structures and pricing models.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using spend analytics to inform sourcing decisions.
  • Process-oriented and customer service–inspired approach.
  • Experience with Procure-to-Pay systems such as Zip.
