Job description

 GrowthAssistant's partner client is looking for Performance Creative Designer / Video Editor to support a fast-moving startup focused on paid marketing creative. This person will help concept, edit, and produce video and static assets used across paid media channels, primarily Meta. The role is hands-on and execution-heavy, but the ideal candidate will also bring thoughtful input on what types of creative should be developed, how to iterate based on performance, and how to move quickly without sacrificing quality.

The Role:

  • Edit paid social video creatives from raw footage, including iPhone-shot founder content, UGC-style assets, and other performance marketing inputs
  • Turn raw content, scripts, and creative direction into polished ad-ready assets for paid channels
  • Create static creative assets to support paid campaigns and creative testing
  • Produce multiple iterations and variations of creative based on briefs, feedback, and performance insights
  • Collaborate directly with internal leadership to refine concepts, improve creative quality, and prioritize production
  • Apply an understanding of paid social platform requirements and best practices, especially for Meta
  • Organize creative files, assets, and outputs clearly so the team can move quickly and efficiently
  • Use AI tools where helpful to improve speed, workflow efficiency, or production volume while maintaining quality
  • Incorporate naming conventions, creative inputs, and asset organization standards provided by internal or external partners
  • Balance fast-turn requests with longer-lead creative projects across video and static formats

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in video editing for paid social or digital marketing campaigns
  • Experience creating static design assets for performance marketing
  • Familiarity with ad creative requirements and best practices across channels such as Meta
    Ability to edit and iterate quickly based on feedback and evolving priorities
  • Strong eye for quality, pacing, visual hierarchy, and what makes creative feel polished and on-brand
  • Comfortable working in a startup environment with less structured briefing and project management systems
  • Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating in Slack, Google Workspace, and quick video calls
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple requests, shifting priorities, and bursts of work
  • Comfortable taking direction while also offering informed recommendations based on experience
  • Open to using AI tools to increase efficiency and output
  • With recent graveyard shift experience and amenable to working on US time zones

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with UGC-style paid social creative and founder-led content
  • Exposure to performance creative strategy, including offering ideas on what should be created or tested
  • Experience reviewing creative performance data and translating insights into next-round iterations
  • Familiarity with asset organization systems or DAM platforms
  • Experience designing Shopify landing pages or supporting light web/UI design needs
  • Broader graphic design skill set across both static and motion formats
  • Experience working with early-stage startups or lean remote teams

Salary Range:  PHP 90K-100K
