About the Role: 

As a Post Award Project Support Specialist supporting our Federal government client, you will be trusted to develop and implement project deliverables, including SOPs, communications, handbooks, and factsheets. This role will entail tracking and monitoring Federal grant-funded projects, reviewing, assessing, and conducting data entry into multiple online platforms, and providing overall administrative support for grant closeout.  

Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):  

  • Sending all communication reminders for three different report types with rolling deadlines, guidance regarding grant compliance, and guidance for research requirements 

  • Develop agendas for client-facing meetings 

  • Provide knowledge capture 

  • Track action items 

  • Follow up on tasking of the action items for the client 

  • Develop and implement project deliverables including SOPs, communications, handbooks, and factsheets 

  • Track and monitor project-specific award conditions (SACs) and award action requests (AARs) within the GEMS eRA and SharePoint systems 

  • Support closeout processes 

  • Conduct initial reviews for recipient-submitted report forms 

  • Collect and extract the data from Baseline, Annual, and Semi-Annual performance reports to be uploaded into dashboards 

  • Organize, validate, and monitor the data of over 200 grant recipients 

  • Support site visit and desk review preparation 

  • Develop training material and provide one on one support to a group of Federal Program Officers (FPOs) on post-award priorities

Location: 

You will work as part of a dynamic team remotely. You will work at the client site depending on contract requirements.   

Required Experience/Skills:  

  • Bachelor’s degree  

  • Minimum of 2 years of consulting and/or directly relevant industry experience. 

  • Knowledge and experience with federal and/or state grants management 

  • Experience developing detailed SOPs for critical processes, including grants administration (post-award).   

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance 

  • Ability to be flexible and maintain professionalism while balancing multiple projects, deadlines, and supervisor and/or client direction/feedback 

  • Receptive to all forms of feedback from clients and colleagues, and proactive to make changes 

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment by communicating effectively 

  • US citizenship or permanent resident and the ability to pass public trust clearance or suitability 

Preferred Experience/Skills: 

  • Monitoring and evaluation techniques, knowledge capture, project management, grant monitoring preparation, and facilitation.
