Energy Supply Scheduler Western Canadian Energy Sector Miles HR has been engaged by a leading Vancouver| Calgary based energy supply management and brokerage firm to identify a sharp, reliable scheduler for this key role.
Part-time with full-time potential Remote / BC or AB Part-time to start 6am – 11am MST daily

They source and deliver over $300 million in energy annually to major industrial and commercial customers across Canada and the United States and their supply and dispatch operations are the engine that makes it all run. This is a newly available opportunity to join a small, experienced team in a role that carries real weight from day one.

THE ROLE
Coordinate daily energy supply purchases across an established network of transmission and utility systems in Western Canada to meet customer demand
Log all daily dispatch and scheduling activity and deliver clear summary reports to clients each morning
Build and maintain working relationships with upstream suppliers, transmission operators, and utility partners
Review and approve monthly supply and transportation invoices; distribute to customers and internal accounting
Provide clients with accurate, timely reports on volumes, pricing, total costs, taxes, and fees
Be on call 1–2 weekends per month to manage potential supply or transport curtailments
WORKING HOURS • Weekdays: 6:00am – 11:00am MST, 3–4 days per week • Weekend on-call: 7:00am – 9:00am MST, 1–2 weekends per month • Fully remote — work from home in BC or AB

No direct industry experience required — our client is prepared to train the right candidate
