Roles & Responsibilities

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in trade business with a proven track record.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution; MBA preferred.
  • Process-oriented approach and experience working in a dynamic multi-division product focus environment.
  • Strong market intelligence, analytical skills, relationship management, and channel management capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Deliver the Sales Plan and execute Joint Business Planning objectives throughout the year, including penetration of 3M products in Level 2-3 trade distribution and retailer engagement.
  • Drive route-to-market activities: deploy sales promoters, ensure daily call coverage, collect orders, lead customer activations, and merchandise retail outlets; identify promotions within budget to drive a premium value portfolio; launch new products to gain share.
  • Optimize and appoint channel partners per the coverage model and division priorities; develop and execute the Trade Marketing calendar with Marketing Teams; achieve new retailer enrollment as planned.
  • Lead Channel Business Reviews (weekly/monthly); manage AR targets; drive cross-selling plans; create a sales pipeline in SFDC and ensure conversion of leads into sales; share leads and opportunities with Channel Sales Reps.

Job Description:

As a Channel Sales Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Delivering Sales Plan
  • Execute on Planned Joint Business Planning Objective thru the year.
  • Penetration of 3M Product in Trade Channel- Level 2-3 distribution & Retailer engagement
  • Drive Sales Promotors for Route –Daily call coverage & Order collection, customer engagement activations, merchandise the retail outlets.
  • Look for sales promotion scope with Given budget to drive premium value portfolio.
  • Launch of New Product to gain maximum share in the competitive market place.
  • Optimize and appoint channel partners as per coverage model and Division priorities
  • Develop and execute Trade Marketing calendar along with Marketing Teams
  • Achieve new Retailer enrollment as per planned coverage model for penetration.
  • Achieve Account Receivable Targets
  • Channel Business Reviews- Weekly/Monthly
  • Share leads and Opportunities / Creating a Healthy hopper and closing the leads with Channel Sales Reps
  • Deliver Cross Selling Plan & DSR Driven Sales Generation Plan
  • Create Pipeline of Sales execution via SFDC & Drive conversions of leads into Sales.

Your Skills and Expertise 

Strong Market intelligence, Analytical, Relationship Management, Strong Channel Management Skills & Channel Sales Rep (DSR) lead demand generation abilities.

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the followings :

  • Min 5 Years of Experience in Trade Business with proven track record.
  • Process oriented approach
  • Worked in Dynamic muti Division product focus environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution with MBA
