As a Transcriptionist Team Lead, you play a critical role behind the scenes of patient careβ€”ensuring clinical reports are accurate, timely, and support strong outcomes across Lifemark’s rehabilitation programs. You’ll lead a team of transcriptionists who work independently, while fostering connection, consistency, and quality across a highly collaborative clinical network.

How You’ll Lead & Contribute

β€’ Lead and support a team of transcriptionists, fostering accountability, quality, and collaboration
β€’ Transcribe and edit medical and rehabilitation reports with a high degree of accuracy
β€’ Ensure reports meet program requirements for WCB, and other referral streams
β€’ Coordinate workflow, prioritize assignments, and manage turnaround times
β€’ Collaborate with clinicians and program teams to clarify dictation and ensure completeness
β€’ Provide coaching, feedback, and support to team members
β€’ Contribute to continuous improvement in transcription processes and quality standards

 

What You Bring

β€’ Completion of a recognized Medical Transcription program
β€’ 2+ years of transcription experience (rehabilitation, medical, or diagnostic imaging preferred)
β€’ Previous experience in a team lead or mentorship capacity is an asset
β€’ Exceptional grammar, editing, and attention to detail
β€’ Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and report structure
β€’ Ability to manage high volumes of work with accuracy and efficiency
β€’ Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment
β€’ Must be based in Alberta with a reliable home office setup
