Position Overview

The Implementation & Migration Specialist, Egnyte is a hands-on, client-facing role responsible for delivering seamless data migration and implementation services for customers transitioning to Egnyte’s platform. This position combines technical execution with consultative expertise, ensuring that client environments are configured to support industry-specific workflows—particularly within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) space.

Qualifications

· Experience: 3-5 years in technical implementation or data migration, at a Managed Service Providers (MSP), ideally within the AEC, Manufacturing sectors, 

· The Egnyte Expert: Proficiency in Egnyte’s "Migration App" and administrative console is a major plus.

· AEC Technical Fluency: Understanding of file types like .rvt, .dwg, and .ifc, and how they behave in cloud environments.

· The "Consultant" Mindset: Ability to translate complex technical jargon into business value for C-suite or Project Executive clients.

· Tools: Experience with SQL, PowerShell, or Python (for data manipulation/scripting) and middleware like Workato or Zapier.

· Soft Skills: Strong project management skills; ability to manage multiple migrations simultaneously while remaining highly responsive in a remote environment.

Essential Functions

1. Migration & Implementation Execution (The "Do-er")

· Lead end-to-end data migrations from legacy on-prem servers or fragmented cloud stores to Egnyte.

· Configure Egnyte environments tailored for AEC workflows (e.g., setting up hybrid-cloud sync, CAD file-locking, and folder permission structures).

· Work closely with our third-party migration partners, acting as the internal quality gatekeeper for their deliverables while eventually taking over the lead on smaller-to-medium engagements.

· Validate data integrity post-migration using checksums, permissions auditing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

2. Scoping & Solution Architecture (The "Consultant")

· Partner with the Sales team to lead "Discovery" sessions, assessing client data landscapes to scope migration timelines and costs.

· Design "future-state" workflows that integrate Egnyte with the Autodesk ecosystem (Autodesk Construction Cloud, Revit, BIM 360) and Procore.

· Document technical requirements and migration roadmaps for client stakeholders.

3. Enterprise Integration Roadmap (The "Future-Thinker")

· Develop a deep understanding of how AEC project data flows into enterprise business applications.

· Identify opportunities to integrate document management with ERP (Financials), HCM (People/Safety), and CRM (Bid Management) systems.

· Stay ahead of the curve on API-led connectivity (e.g., using Workato or ACC Connect) to automate data flow across the enterprise.

Pay range for this position: $90k-100k
