Requirements:

  • Design, execute, and continuously optimize the healthcare go-to-market strategy, including demand generation and sales enablement across hospitals and healthcare systems.
  • Serve as the public face of the healthcare vertical, delivering national and regional speaking engagements and presenting to technical and non‑technical audiences; build relationships with ASHE, AMFP, APIC and other associations.
  • Collaborate with the NOA Healthcare Sales Team, ASMs, and AE BDMs to provide market intelligence, product knowledge, and sales tools; develop materials to accelerate meetings and expand solution breadth in hospitals.
  • Partner with marketing to determine the optimal media mix for demand generation, CEUs, and product presentations; lead or support presentations for decision makers across channels, including architectural/engineering firms and ownership groups.

The Business Development Manager – Healthcare Vertical is responsible for designing, executing, and continuously optimizing the full go‑to‑market strategy for the healthcare market. This role requires a deep understanding of how healthcare systems, hospitals, and related stakeholders make decisions regarding new construction, renovation, and MRO purchasing. Acting as the public face of the company within the healthcare industry, this individual will drive demand generation, support sales enablement efforts, and position the organization as a trusted leader across key healthcare engineering, planning, and infection‑prevention communities. Ideal candidate lives in Florida.

Key Responsibilities

Market Expertise & Customer Insight

  • Possess deep knowledge of how products are utilized across the healthcare vertical, including the value propositions driving decisions for new builds, renovations, and MRO initiatives.
  • Monitor competitor activity within the vertical, identifying opportunities for differentiation, value creation, and market share growth.
  • Understand all key decision makers and influencers within the healthcare ecosystem—facility managers, engineers, infection preventionists, planners, architects, and owners—and tailor messaging to each role’s priorities and language.
  • Maintain strong connections within the healthcare community, including ASHE, AMFP, APIC, and other relevant associations.

Industry Leadership & Public Representation

  • Serve as the public face of the company for the healthcare vertical.
  • Secure and deliver high‑quality national and regional speaking engagements at industry events, CEU sessions, and partner forums.
  • Confidently present to technical and non‑technical audiences of all sizes, adapting content effectively to each audience.

Sales Enablement & Collaboration

  • Work closely with the NOA Healthcare Sales Team, ASMs, and AE BDMs to provide market intelligence, product knowledge, and sales tools needed to effectively target and close opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing to ensure all necessary tools, content, and campaigns required to accelerate funnel creation and conversion.
  • Develop tools that enable sales teams to secure meetings, accelerate win rates, and increase solution breadth sold into hospitals and healthcare systems.
  • Regularly support or lead presentations for decision makers and influencers across channels, architectural/engineering firms, and ownership groups.
  • Partner with marketing to determine the optimal media mix for generating demand, securing speaking opportunities, earning CEUs, and driving product presentations and sales meetings.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development, vertical market strategy, or product marketing—preferably within the healthcare sector.
  • Deep understanding of the healthcare decision‑making ecosystem and strong relationships within key industry organizations.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with demonstrated ability to speak at national events.
  • Strong strategic thinking capabilities with the ability to quickly create effective content, tools, and sales enablement materials.
  • Demonstrated success building and executing go‑to‑market strategies.
  • Ability to navigate highly cross‑functional environments and collaborate effectively with sales, product, and marketing teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort managing KPI‑driven performance.
  • Candidates must live in Florida
  • This role requires up to 75% travel.

Base Salary Range: $112,900 - $155,238

The compensation range(s) identified above is a good faith estimate of the salary expected to be paid as performed from these locations. Actual salaries may vary based on a variety of factors including but not limited to skillset, experience, education and training, and other relevant business and organizational factors. Most candidates will start in the lower half of the range.
