Dual Role Loss Adjuster - Nelson/Blenheim

This exciting full-time position based in either of our Nelson or Blenheim branches is available to a customer service focused individual who has come from a background in the automotive industry. As this is a diverse role, we are dedicated to finding the right candidate who would enjoy a dual role, that would allow them to learn the ropes of motor and property assessment.

 Desired skills and qualities for this role include:

  • Experience and/or qualification in one of the following industries - panel beating/automotive/heavy motor/mechanical engineering

  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

  • IT competency

  • A willingness to be flexible for the business

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Management of variety of insurance claims  

  • Liaising with customers who have suffered a loss and need support through the claim process

  • Analysing cause of losses

  • Liaising with key stakeholders, including insurers, insureds, and contractors and other suppliers

  • Agreeing repair scopes and costs

  • Agreeing quantum of claims

  • Delivering claim outcomes
