Corporate Sales Consultant

What does a successful Corporate Sales Consultant do?

A successful Corporate Sales Consultant at Fiserv is a consultative, value-first salesperson who helps large and complex merchants translate payment technology into better business outcomes. You act as a Partner in Possibility—building trusted relationships, uncovering growth opportunities, and guiding clients to the right mix of payments and business-management solutions. You collaborate across internal teams to deliver seamless implementations and measurable client value, reflecting Fiserv’s commitment to innovation, integrity, and client success.

What you will do:

  • Drive new business by proactively sourcing and qualifying opportunities within large merchant accounts.
  • Develop tailored payments solutions that align to client operations, pain points, and growth objectives.
  • Present compelling commercial and technical proposals to stakeholders, simplifying complex features into business benefits.
  • Manage end-to-end sales cycles, coordinating with product, implementation, and channel partners to close deals.
  • Grow and retain existing portfolios through cross-sell, upsell, and ongoing relationship management.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and support contract execution with a focus on profitability and client value.
  • Track and report sales activity and pipeline in CRM to ensure transparent, data-driven forecasting.
  • Represent Fiserv values in every client interaction, promoting long-term trust and client advocacy.

What you will need to have:

  • Demonstrable success in a revenue-driven, self-sourcing sales environment with consistent quota attainment and KPI delivery (e.g., sustained target achievement).
  • Strong consultative selling and solution design skills with the ability to map payments and platform features to client ROI.
  • High business acumen with a proven ability to identify and convert cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills capable of influencing stakeholders up to board level.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners and to translate technical concepts into clear business outcomes.

What would be great to have:

  • Experience selling into board- or executive-level audiences and leading strategic commercial conversations.
  • Existing network and knowledge across the UK payments ecosystem (acquiring, gateways, POS, ISVs).
  • Experience preparing and supporting RFP responses and commercial bids.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and structured pipeline management.
  • Background in contract negotiation and commercial structuring for enterprise deals.
