  • Build strong client relationships as the primary point of contact for emerging affluent clients, delivering proactive, personalized service and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Oversee high-value cash transactions with accuracy, discretion, secure handling, recording, reconciliation, and risk monitoring.
  • Provide credit advisory support: review loan applications and perform basic financial/credit analysis, guiding clients through the credit process.
  • Deliver tailored financial solutions and an exceptional client experience: recommend banking products, identify cross-sell opportunities, ensure responsible, compliant product recommendations, and resolve client queries and complaints.

We’re looking for a Client Relationship Officer who can deliver a personalised, high touch banking experience to our emerging affluent clients. This role blends relationship management, financial advisory, and secure transaction oversight in a fast-paced, trust-driven environment.

Your Mission

To build and grow long-term client relationships by providing tailored financial solutions, while ensuring secure, compliant, and high-quality service delivery.

What You’ll Do

Build Strong Client Relationships

  • Act as the primary point of contact for emerging affluent clients.
  • Develop trusted relationships through proactive engagement and personalised service.
  • Understand client financial needs, behaviours, and growth opportunities.

Manage High-Value Transactions

  • Oversee and process high-value cash transactions with accuracy and discretion.
  • Ensure all transactions are securely handled, recorded, and reconciled.
  • Monitor cash exposure and identify any irregularities or risks.

Provide Credit & Advisory Support

  • Review and assess client loan applications.
  • Conduct basic financial and credit analysis.
  • Guide clients through the credit process with clear and professional communication.

Deliver Tailored Financial Solutions

  • Recommend suitable banking products (lending, savings, cards, transactional services).
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities based on client needs.
  • Ensure responsible and compliant product recommendations.

Deliver Exceptional Client Experience

  • Provide a professional, responsive, and relationship-led service.
  • Resolve client queries efficiently and effectively.
  • Manage complaints in line with service and regulatory standards.

Ensure Compliance & Risk Management

  • Adhere to regulatory requirements (RBZ, AML, KYC).
  • Maintain accurate client and transaction records.
  • Identify and escalate any compliance or operational risks.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Business, or related field
  • 3+ years’ experience in banking, financial services, or relationship management
  • Experience handling cash transactions and client-facing roles
  • Exposure to credit processes and financial advisory (advantageous)
