Requirements:

  • Open and host virtual meetings (Zoom, WebEx, Teams); admit participants; take attendance; manage breakout rooms and polls as directed by instructors.
  • Oversee chat, share handout documents, manage the whiteboard/annotations, and provide links for course evaluations or custom program materials in chat.
  • Provide technical support to participants during the program and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Support instructors and participants in MEI virtual enrollment, Mini-MBA and custom programs to contribute to program success.

Position Summary:

The IT-Assistant-B (Moderator) position plays an essential role for our virtual Public Enrollment, Mini-MBA and Custom programs in supporting instructors and providing client service for our executive participants. The virtual training programs are an important component of the MEI learning platform and contribute to the overall MEI revenue. We are looking to extend contracts for our Moderator Team into the Summer term. 

The casual part-time temporary remote position opens the virtual meeting (Zoom, WebEx, Teams, etc.); assumes the role of host; admits participants; takes attendance; creates & launches breakout room exercises as per instructor directives; creates & launches polls; oversees the chat function for  drops handout documents in the chat; manages the whiteboard and annotation; instructs participants where to locate the course evaluation link or drops the link for custom programs in the chat; at the end of the program; provides support for participants with any technical difficulties
