Roles & Responsibilities

AHIMA certification
Inpatient (facility) coding and/or auditing background with expertise in education and content creation
High technology capability including experience with Microsoft Office 365, Word, and PowerPoint
Experience with a Learning Management System (LMS) is strongly preferred

Requirements:

Provide expertise to the content library and develop inpatient educational content to support the team
Apply inpatient coding and auditing knowledge to create accurate educational materials for the team
Collaborate with HIM professionals and deliver content remotely (home-based) on a flexible schedule (20-40 hours per week)

Job description

UASI is seeking an experienced Inpatient Educator to provide expertise to our content library. The ideal candidate will have high level inpatient coding expertise and experience creating inpatient educational content to support our team.

The ideal candidate will have:

AHIMA certification
Inpatient (facility) coding and/or auditing background with an expertise in education and content creation
High technology capability including experience with Microsoft Office including 365, Word, and PowerPoint
Experience with a Learning Management System is strongly preferred.

We are seeking a minimum of 20 hours per week but could also accommodate up to 40 hours per week.
