Requirements:

  • Prioritize and manage Change Requests (CRIs) based on priority ratings and impact, using CRI log and input from module leads.
  • Develop and maintain Tririga components, including workflows, UX applications (Polymer/React/JavaScript/HTML/CSS), and occasional BIRT reports or class loaders.
  • Manage databases and write SQL code in SQL Server; develop custom SQL queries to support modules, business objects, and data visualization tools like Tableau.
  • Communicate effectively with module leads and management; provide clear updates, justify CRIs, and clarify feasibility.

IBM Tririga Consultant
12+ month contract
REMOTE (Client location is Orlando, FL)

Role Overview:
This role is responsible for the design, build, and configuration of the IBM Tririga Integrated Workspace Management Solutions (IWMS) product. The developer will translate business requirements into software capabilities while managing task prioritization in a multi-threaded, parallel work-stream environment.

Consultant Daily Tasks
1. Prioritize and Manage Change Requests (CRIs)
  • Work from a change request log (CRIs) using priority ratings and personal judgment to determine which tasks to tackle.
  • Handle CRIs primarily created by module leads (Business Analysts) and assigned to developers, assessing their urgency and impact on the Tririga Application.
2. Develop and Maintain Tririga Components
  • Update, maintain, and create workflows within Tririga to ensure functionality for forms and business objects.
  • Build and enhance UX applications using Polymer 1, Polymer 3, and React, leveraging JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other relevant technologies.
  • Occasionally modify or create BIRT reports (Eclipse) to manipulate data with greater flexibility than allowed within Tririga's standard features.

3. Manage Databases and Write SQL Code
  • Code in SQL Server and maintain databases, as all Tririga data resides in a database environment.
  • Develop custom SQL queries to support specific tasks, ensuring data is accessible for modules, business objects, and visualization tools like Tableau.
4. Communicate Effectively with Team Members
  • Engage with module leads and management to discuss potential issues, propose solutions, and clarify CRI requirements.
  • Provide clear updates and explanations, especially when addressing assigned CRIs or justifying why certain requests may not be feasible.
5. Solve Problems Quickly and Handle Unexpected Issues
  • Address unforeseen challenges promptly, using quick thinking to maintain system stability and prevent downtime.
  • Implement rapid fixes as needed to support demonstrations or ensure uninterrupted operations of TRIRIGA.

Minimum Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 6 years direct experience in design/build (configuration) of the IBM Tririga IWMS product.
  • Technical Knowledge: Must possess knowledge of Data Modeler, Form Builder, Association Manager, Workflow Builder, Navigation Builder, Portal Builder, and Report Manager.
  • Implementation: Minimum 6 years prior work experience in implementing software solutions, specifically the translation of business requirements into software capabilities.
  • Collaboration: Minimum 6 years of experience in a software solution configuration environment that included high levels of team collaboration and reflects the capability to perform task prioritization.
  • Governance: Participating experience in control boards such as Change Control Board, Engineering Review Board, or Defect Review Board.
  • Domain Knowledge: Knowledge of Facilities processes in Space Management, Project Management, and Maintenance/Operation Management.
