Lead Front-End Developer

GXM Technologies is seeking an experienced Lead Front-End Developer to join our team. As a Lead Front-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing user interfaces for our web applications. You will work closely with our design teams to create engaging and modern user interfaces ensuring that user experience patterns and requirements are included in all final products. To be successful in this role, you should have an extensive experience with React and other front-end technologies and be able to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

Responsibilities 

• Design, develop and maintain user-friendly web interfaces using React and other frameworks  
• Collaborate with other developers, end users, stakeholders, contractor teams, and project managers to create visually appealing and intuitive web pages  
• Integrate backend APIs with front-end code  
• Optimize web pages for maximum speed and scalability without compromising on user interface design and overall user experience   
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development 
• Lead development efforts

• Must be a U.S. citizen 
• 10+ years of demonstrated experience with front end software development using modern frameworks, particularly React 
• Experience leading a team of developers as a lead or architect  
• Strong knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript 
• Strong familiarity with Object Oriented Programming (OOP)   
• Experience using AI assisted workflows to increase throughput and quality 
• Experience with automated test generation 
• Experience building custom components and libraries   
• Experience optimizing web applications for performance  
• Excellent communication, client orientation, and collaboration skills 
• Results-oriented team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn 
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills  
• Background in prioritization and multi-tasking in a flexible (but fast-paced) work environment 

Desired 

• Experience with full-stack development 
• Proficient in React  
• Experience in accessibility and accessibility standards, such as Section 508 Compliance and WCAG 2.1 AA
