Role Overview
In this position, you will focus on developing and supporting tools and extensions for the Unity Editor used within internal production workflows.
The work includes handling a variety of gameplay systems influenced by well-known game mechanics, as well as building adaptable solutions that enable fast iteration across projects of different genres.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and refine gameplay functionality in Unity for diverse project types
Create and support custom editor extensions, inspectors, and internal-use plugins
Improve and design efficient, scalable workflows for development teams
Support existing features by fixing issues and improving performance
Work closely with engineers, technical artists, QA specialists, and product contributors
Participate in architectural discussions and technical decision-making
Write structured, maintainable, and scalable C# code within large codebases
Operate across different Unity rendering pipelines (Standard, URP, HDRP)
Maintain technical documentation and contribute to team knowledge sharing
Requirements
5+ years of hands-on experience with Unity in a professional environment
Strong command of C#/.NET, including system design, debugging, optimization, and async workflows
Deep understanding of Unity architecture and development patterns, with the ability to design robust and scalable solutions
Good written and verbal communication skills in English
Experience using AI-assisted tools as part of development processes
Advanced knowledge of Git and version control practices
Proven experience building gameplay systems and developer-facing tools in Unity (including editor tooling)
Experience working with multiple Unity rendering pipelines in both 2D and 3D contexts
Familiarity with task management platforms (such as Jira, ClickUp, or similar)
Experience creating and maintaining Unity packages (internal or external)
Experience with commonly used Unity frameworks and tools (e.g. Cinemachine, Zenject, UniRx, tweening solutions)
Basic familiarity with ECS concepts
Experience working with Unity Timeline
Nice to Have
Experience developing visual scripting tools or node-based systems for designers
Involvement in research or internal initiatives aimed at improving development processes or product quality
Exposure to other game engines
Experience with motion graphics or compositing tools
Familiarity with external 3D software (such as Blender, Maya, 3ds Max)
