FinTech Product Owner

Your Role:

As a Product Owner, you will act as the bridge between business and development teams, ensuring that product requirements are clearly defined, prioritized, and delivered efficiently. You will work closely with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to translate product vision into actionable tasks and ensure high-quality delivery in each sprint.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it is well-structured, prioritized, and aligned with business goals

• Translate product requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications

• Work closely with development teams on a daily basis to clarify requirements and support delivery

• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives)

• Prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on business value, customer impact, and technical input

• Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product increments

• Validate delivered features against acceptance criteria and business expectations

• Support release planning and coordinate with relevant teams for smooth product launches

• Continuously gather feedback from stakeholders and users to improve the product

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within Agile teams

• Strong experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Trello)

• Proven ability to manage and prioritize a product backlog in a fast-paced FinTech environment

• Experience writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria

• Strong collaboration skills and experience working closely with development teams

• A good understanding of fintech products and systems (payments, banking, etc.) is a plus

• Analytical mindset with the ability to balance business and technical priorities

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Experience working with UX/UI teams to deliver user-centric solutions

• Familiarity with APIs and microservices architecture is a plus

• Fluent in English and Russian
