About the role

This opportunity is open to women who live and breathe social media and are ready to turn that into something real. You understand how platforms work; what to post, how communities behave, and what it takes to build genuine engagement. You're the kind of person who is always on social media anyway. 

What you'll be doing

• Managing day-to-day activity across Africhange's social media platforms.
• Scheduling and publishing content in line with the content calendar.
• Monitoring comments, DMs, and mentions.
• Tracking performance metrics and pulling weekly reports.
• Identifying trends, sounds, and moments worth jumping on.
• Working closely with the content team to give creative direction and feedback.
• Supporting campaign rollouts with platform-specific execution.

What you should have

• Fresh graduate or 0-2 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or communications.
• Deep familiarity with Instagram, Twitter/X, and LinkedIn.
• Creative and attentive enough to spot new trends and hop on them.
• Copywriting skills.
• Strong understanding of what performs on each platform and why.
• Comfortable with social media scheduling and analytics tools.
• Highly organized and dedicated.
• Access to a working laptop or smartphone.
• Available during core working hours and able to commit to occasional in-person shoot days.
  
• Bonus Points:
  • Experience managing a brand or personal account with a real following.
  • Eye for design. Be able to give useful creative direction even if you're not the designer.
