Job Overview:
S2Tech is seeking a Curam Functional SME with deep experience in eligibility and enrollment programs to support a major modernization effort for the State of Missouri. This role will focus on business processes, policy alignment, and system functionality across Medicaid and other assistance programs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide functional expertise in Curam-based eligibility systems
- Support business process analysis and workflow redesign
- Translate policy requirements (including H.R.1) into functional system requirements
- Assist with:
- Eligibility determinations
- Redeterminations
- Work requirements
- Verification processes
- Support gap analysis between the current-state (Curam) and future-state platforms
- Collaborate with technical and architecture teams to ensure alignment between:
- Business needs
- System capabilities
- Assist with stakeholder engagement, training, and change management support
Required Qualifications:
- 5–10+ years of experience with Curam functional implementation
- Strong background in:
- Medicaid eligibility (MAGI preferred)
- SNAP / TANF (nice to have)
- Experience with:
- Eligibility operations
- Case management workflows
- Ability to translate policy → system requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with HHS modernization efforts
- Familiarity with:
- H.R.1 or similar federal policy changes
- Experience working with:
- State agencies
- Systems integrators
- Missouri experience strongly preferred
