Job Overview:

S2Tech is seeking a Curam Functional SME with deep experience in eligibility and enrollment programs to support a major modernization effort for the State of Missouri. This role will focus on business processes, policy alignment, and system functionality across Medicaid and other assistance programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide functional expertise in Curam-based eligibility systems
  • Support business process analysis and workflow redesign
  • Translate policy requirements (including H.R.1) into functional system requirements
  • Assist with:
    • Eligibility determinations
    • Redeterminations
    • Work requirements
    • Verification processes
  • Support gap analysis between the current-state (Curam) and future-state platforms
  • Collaborate with technical and architecture teams to ensure alignment between:
    • Business needs
    • System capabilities
  • Assist with stakeholder engagement, training, and change management support

Required Qualifications:

  • 5–10+ years of experience with Curam functional implementation
  • Strong background in:
    • Medicaid eligibility (MAGI preferred)
    • SNAP / TANF (nice to have)
  • Experience with:
    • Eligibility operations
    • Case management workflows
  • Ability to translate policy → system requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with HHS modernization efforts
  • Familiarity with:
    • H.R.1 or similar federal policy changes
  • Experience working with:
    • State agencies
    • Systems integrators 
  • Missouri experience strongly preferred
