System Engineer - Deployment Automation (REF4809D)

We are looking for an skilled and enthusiastic expert who will be responsible for maintaining and developing automations for our Healthcare customers.

You will be the technical contact for this automation. You will be responsible for design, implementation, test and rollout of automation flows. This also includes the analysis of complex incidents in the whole solution.

Software / PowerShell scripting:

• Creating Automation Flows with Microfocus CSA, OO, SA toolsuite
• Creating software packages for automated deployments
• Creating software packages for applications
• Testing and approving new releases / new software packages

Operating Systems:

• Create automated deployment solutions for Linux, Windows and AIX

Platforms:

• Integration of new Servers / new physical and virtual hardware models from vendors like HPE, IBM, DELL, CISCO…
• Implementing of new drivers for boot image and OS for HPE, IBM, DELL, CISCO…

Automation development:

• Develop new and maintain existing source code of automation
• Bugfixing, updates, developing
• Integration of commands/scripts for SQL database

Troubleshooting:

• Solving installations issue / user support
• Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP and Firewall and DNS, LAN, PXE boot)
• Provide automation training for new endusers
• Release management / synchronization / deployments from DEV to PROD
• Maintaining of the testlab
• Writing documentation / FAQ(s)

• Very experienced in automation and especially automated deployment solutions
• Network knowledge
• Knowledge regarding server virtualization
• Basic level Microfocus CSA skills
• Basic level Microfocus OO skills
• Expert level Microfocus SA skills
• Expert level of operating system knowledge regarding Microsoft Windows Server 2019 and 2022
• Basic level of operating system knowledge regarding Linux and AIX
• 5+ years with the named technologies
