We’re looking for a Full Stack Engineer (6 month contract) to lead the development of major software components, systems, and features. Leverage your expertise in Software Development to mentor and coach the team to raise the overall output of the development team.
Development & Delivery
Work with an agile team to develop, test, and maintain Q4 software applications
Write and maintain codebases with a high level of quality across all of your work
Develop and unit test applications in accordance with established Q4 standards
Contribute to designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining new and existing features
Follow Q4's software development lifecycle, committing and delivering on those commitments
Collaboration & Communication
Communicate clearly and regularly with team members and your team lead
Attend and contribute to company development meetings
Work closely with QA to produce high-quality code and automate according to QA requirements
Assist with the development of user stories and estimates
Documentation & Standards
Ensure that software you develop is well documented
Undertake any other reasonable task that may be asked of you by senior management
7+ years of Software Development experience
2+ years of experience as an Intermediate Fullstack Developer working with MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js
Proven track record of developing both front end and back end applications
Experience in a variety of software development approaches and methodologies including Agile and Scrum
Experience in both technical planning and implementation-level software design
Experience in requirements capture, analysis techniques, and process improvement approaches
Additional Skills
Excellent personal organization with the ability to prioritize and carry out multiple tasks
Comfortable working autonomously without routine supervision
A desire to remain technically capable and an expert in current technologies
Proven track record of practical, thoughtful problem solving
Location: Brazil (Remote)
