Job description

Position Summary:

The Administrative Assistant provides high-level support to the College Administrative Management function.  This role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth daily operation of functional responsibilities, maintaining records, acting as a liaison between learners and the function, as well as faculty/collaborators and the function.  This role will assist Resolution Management, Learner Conduct, and the 504 Coordinator.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Provides day-to-day administrative assistance to function leadership and collaborators.
  • Assists with intake of submitted learner reports and cross-functional communication in decision-making processes.
  • Assists in the preparation of reports, correspondence, and presentations as needed.
  • Assists in communication of and storing of sensitive information.
  • Assists in front-line communication when needed.
  • Maintains and updates directories, communication pathways, and calendars as needed.
  • Uses college systems and platforms for communication and record-keeping.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Experience in higher education preferred.
  • Demonstrated at least one year of professional experience managing documentation, private, or protected information is required.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality of information.
  • Organizational and independent time management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Budgeted Hiring Range
$26$28 USD

All new hires are required to attend New Collaborator Orientation (NCO) in Salt Lake City, Utah. The College will cover travel, lodging, and other accommodations.
