BlackRock Resources is seeking a skilled CAD Designer for our engineering client in Canonsburg. You will work from detailed sketches and verbal or written direction to produce computer-generated models, plans, base maps, profiles, cross-sections, details, figures, overlays and simple isometric drawings.
Job details:
Provide AutoCAD/Civil 3D design support for various Engineering and Construction projects
Prepare and label preliminary layouts and detailed design drawings from engineering notes, sketches, and/or other drawings
Work directly with project engineers to learn design skills for a variety of projects

Skills and Qualifications:
High School Diploma required.
Associate degree with related AutoCAD experience preferred
Certificate in an AutoCAD related training course or work equivalent
2-5 years of related AutoCAD experience
Understanding of creation and compilation of construction drawings using AutoCAD and Civil3D
High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
Capability to work independently and as a team player
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
AutoCAD/Civil 3D training and/or relative experience.
