Job description

Responsibilities:

Create and maintain end-to-end test cases and test plans for projects related to BSS and OSS systems.
Define and communicate test strategies aligned with business and technical requirements.
Review and validate test strategies and test plans across projects.
Support multiple QA workstreams across projects and priorities.
Perform functional, system, integration, and regression testing.
Create reusable test scenarios and ensure proper test coverage.
Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman and validate system integrations.
Support performance, load, and stress testing activities where applicable.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of UI and API automation frameworks.
Identify opportunities to increase automation coverage and reduce manual testing effort.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate automation into the CI/CD pipeline.
Monitor and report on automation adoption and effectiveness.
Work closely with Agile teams including Architects, Developers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts.
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, and Retrospectives.
Support continuous testing practices within DevOps pipelines.
Help ensure test environments and test data are stable and available.
Log, track, and report defects and incidents in a timely manner.
Perform root cause analysis for critical defects.
Provide status reports and quality metrics to stakeholders.
Research and recommend QA best practices, tools, and technologies.
Contribute to improving testing processes and standards across teams.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
3+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
Hands-on experience in functional and integration testing.
Experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, or similar.
Experience working with or maintaining test automation frameworks.
Experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools.
Experience designing and executing performance and load testing.
Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with version control tools such as GitHub or similar.
Knowledge of programming or scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java.
Knowledge of PL/SQL (Oracle) and database validation.
Experience with Salesforce, CRM, CPQ, or ERP systems is a plus.
Knowledge of test data management.
Interest in leveraging AI to improve test case generation, automation, or defect analysis
Exposure to AI-assisted development or testing tools such as GitHub Copilot is a plus.
Interest in leveraging AI to improve test case generation, automation, or defect analysis.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
This position could be remote for any of the following countries (Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru).
