Join us as an Individual Contributor for a short-term voice recording project on CrowdGen.
Help improve speech technology by recording short, scripted commands in your native language using your smartphone. This is a simple, remote task that can be completed in just 1 to 2 hours, including time to review the provided guidelines.
What you’ll do:
- Record short, scripted commands written in your native language
- Complete one full recording session of 500 prompts using the Appen Mobile app
- Follow the provided instructions carefully to meet quality requirements
Duration:
The full task can be completed in approximately 1 to 2 hours, including guideline review
Requirements:
To participate, you must be:
- A native Marathi speaker residing in India.
- 18 yrs old or above
- In possession of a smartphone compatible with the Appen Mobile app
Payment:
- Payment is provided for the full completion of one recording session (500 prompts) with at least 90% prompt quality accepted
- Incomplete sessions will not be compensated
- Sessions with a QA score below 90% will be considered rejected and will not be compensated
Important Note:
This project follows a first-come, first-served approach and operates with demographic quotas to ensure fair and balanced representation across participant groups.
As a result, some individuals may not receive a task assignment if their demographic group has already been filled. This process helps maintain diversity and avoid over-representation.

This is a project-based opportunity with CrowdGen, where you will join the CrowdGen Community as an Independent Contractor. If selected, you will receive an email from CrowdGen with instructions to create your account, complete setup requirements, and proceed with participation in the project.
