Full Stack Developer

This is a remote position.

Role Summary

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable, cloud-native applications using Java (Spring Boot) and Angular
  
• Build and maintain microservices-based architectures and RESTful APIs
  
• Develop data pipelines and workflows leveraging Python and Apache Airflow
  
• Contribute to cloud transformation and application modernization initiatives on GCP
  

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot
  
• Build responsive front-end applications using Angular, TypeScript, and RxJS
  
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and system integrations
  
• Build and manage solutions on GCP (GKE, Dataflow, Cloud SQL/PostgreSQL)
  
• Develop data pipelines and orchestration workflows using Python and Airflow
  
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and follow DevOps best practices
  
• Perform application modernization, including legacy refactoring and cloud migration
  
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business and technical stakeholders
  
• Mentor junior developers and support offshore team coordination
  
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and manage tasks via Jira
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of software development experience
  
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
  
• Hands-on experience with Angular (TypeScript, RxJS)
  
• Experience working with GCP services, especially GKE
  
• Proficiency in Python, Apache Airflow, and Dataflow
  
• Strong database experience with PostgreSQL / Cloud SQL
  
• Experience with REST API development and integrations
  
• Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
  
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  
• Strong communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills
  
• Experience working with distributed/offshore teams
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Retail domain (merchandising, supply chain, inventory systems)
  
• Exposure to large-scale application modernization programs
  
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture and cloud-native design patterns (e.g., Pub/Sub, Kafka)
