Requirements:

  • Provide leadership and sound contract administration to meet customer obligations, achieve company objectives, and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Draft BOEs aligned with contract scope and company policy.
  • Partner with key program functions in the analysis of RFPs, development of proposals, proposal reviews and coordination, negotiation, contractual agreements, contracts implementation, and general contract administration.
  • Effectively manage contractual scope, terms and conditions, and pricing; examine cost structure estimates of labor, material, engineering services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy; identify business and contractual issues and implement solutions; travel domestically as needed (approximately 10-15%).

We have an opportunity for a Manager, Contracts who seizes the chance to immerse themselves with the team to support the Multi-Platform Radar Technology Insertion (MP-RTIP) sustainment program. This product line falls under the Advanced Products & Solutions (APS) Strategic Business Unit (SBU). This role will support Development and Sustainment efforts for the Advanced Early Warning & Reconnaissance Systems (AEWRS) Contracts team by providing contract management support of significant scope and complexity and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements for proposal, negotiation and contract execution. This role is tailored for a highly motivated, well-organized Contracts professional who is seeking a dynamic and collaborative team environment.

What You Will Do

  • Provide leadership and sound contract administration to meet customer obligations, achieve company objectives, and comply with company policies

  • Draft BOEs aligned with contract scope and company policy

  • Partner with Key Program Functions in the analysis of Requests for Proposal (RFP), development of proposals, proposal reviews and coordination, negotiation, contractual agreements, contracts implementation, as well as general contract administration

  • Effectively manage contractual scope and terms and conditions to ensure work is performed to the overall contract scope

  • Work closely within cross-functional teams to construct, submit, and negotiate Terms & Conditions and pricing proposals, examine, and understand cost structure estimates of labor, material, engineering services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness

  • Recognize business and contractual issues in program performance and help implement solutions; carry out tasks to completion while exercising good judgment

  • Some domestic travel as needed (approximately 10-15% for 2-3 days) to customer and/or Raytheon sites

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience

  • Experience with U.S. Government Contracts administration/management under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and/or the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)

  • Good analytical skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to understand the financial aspects of contracts and risk quantification

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, where prioritization is required to be effective

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
