Roles & Responsibilities

  • Excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, organizational skills, and attention to detail; ability to translate business requirements into effective system configurations and work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Serve as primary Gainsight system administrator; configure rules, CTAs, Playbooks, Success Plans, surveys, and Journey Orchestrator programs; maintain data integrations and ensure platform reliability, data integrity, and performance.
  • Maintain documentation, governance standards, and change-management practices; identify enhancements to improve usability, automation, and overall platform value.
  • Partner with functional and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable system configurations; act as a subject matter expert and communicate changes and roadmaps.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports; ensure consistent KPI definitions and provide ongoing analysis and insights to support business objectives; design and execute platform-driven programs; monitor performance and iterate for continuous improvement.

Job Description:

The Sr. Specialist I, Systems Administrator is responsible for the configuration, optimization, and ongoing management of system platforms to support assigned functional and cross-functional business partners. This role is a hands-on system administrator focused on operational excellence, data quality, and scalable processes.

Platform Administration & Optimization

  • Serve as a primary system administrator, responsible for configuring rules, CTAs, Playbooks, Success Plans, Surveys, and Journey Orchestrator programs.
  • Maintain and optimize data integrations between platforms, product usage sources, and other operational tools.
  • Ensure platform reliability, data integrity, and performance through proactive monitoring and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain documentation, governance standards, and change-management practices.
  • Identify and implement enhancements to improve usability, automation, and overall platform value.


Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with assigned functional and cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into scalable system configurations.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on system capabilities and workflows.
  • Communicate system changes, feature updates, and roadmap improvements to internal stakeholders.

 
Reporting, Analytics & Insights

  • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, to improve visibility of KPIs.
  • Ensure consistent definitions and alignment of KPIs across teams.
  • Provide ongoing analysis and insights that support business objectives.


Process Improvement & Program Execution

  • Support the design and execution of platform-driven programs.
  • Identify process gaps and implement scalable solutions that streamline workflows.
  • Monitor program performance and automation outcomes, iterating to ensure continuous improvement.
     

Perform other duties that support the overall objective of the position.

Education Required:

  • Bachelors Degree.
  • Or, any combination of education and experience which would provide the required qualifications for the position.

Experience Required:

  • 4-6 years of experience in systems or platform administration.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of: Proficiency with systems and platforms, data integrations, and ETL or data workflows. Technical aptitude. 
  • Skill in: Excellent communication skills. Strong analytical abilities, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to: Translate business requirements into effective system configurations. Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
