We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, Learning and Development to join our team. As a key member of the Learning and Development department, you will be responsible for providing and supporting the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders, conducting training operations, identifying learning needs, determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices, monitoring progress and results, recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities, and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities. You will collaborate with stakeholders to determine needs, adapt to changing demands, model compliance with company policies, and utilize the Open Door Policy to address concerns. You will manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of solutions that meet business needs.
This position requires you to work on multiple priorities and liaison with various stakeholders to ensure our programs run seamlessly.

We work closely with experts and internal teams to understand training needs and create effective programs, empowering our associates to excel in their roles and drive Walmart's success.
What you'll do:
As a Program Manager, Learning and Development, you will manage learning activities by overseeing associate training on complex systems and processes and programs. You will utilize learning management systems to monitor, track, and report on learning activities, incorporate trainee feedback and performance metric results, and share course facilitation improvements with senior management. Additionally, you will evaluate program effectiveness against business objectives and oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our digital repository and resources.
You will work closely with various teams such as procurement, legal, and finance to ensure the timely delivery of our programs and collaborate with vendor partners for various learning operations. You will also support facilitators and team members by providing feedback to enhance facilitation skills, assessing the team's performance in sessions facilitated, making recommendations for additional training, and coaching, mentoring, and developing other associates with or without managerial supervision based on requirements by management.
To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate up-to-date expertise and apply this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans. You will provide expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices, support and align efforts to meet customer and business needs and build commitment for perspectives and rationales.
In addition, a strong understanding of software engineering, artificial intelligence, and technical concepts is essential. You should be comfortable working with modern technologies, leveraging AI and productivity tools, and understanding the technical requirements that drive learning and development in a tech-focused environment. This knowledge will enable you to effectively communicate with technical teams and ensure that learning solutions align with the latest advancements in the industry.
